When you move cities, it’s a big deal …
Although I was definitely ready, when I got here to Lisbon (my new home) I realised that I not only had to make new friends, I had to build a new network…
And yes my business is online, but I was craving IN PERSON interaction. With new faces, new clients, new inspiring conversations….
I had an idea come to me a few weeks ago – I saw myself hiring venues here, welcoming local Portuguese, giving back to this amazing country which has already given me so much in the time I’ve been here 🙏
And so I leaned into the feelings – the emotions of success in helping the city move forwards, the feelings of pride and giving back, the sensations of service and how it felt in my vision :sparkles:
And a few days later, I got my “invite”.
A women’s networking dinner. With a whole new group, and a mix of expats and Portuguese…I knew I was meant to be there…
And I was. It was amazing. Full of ambitious, powerful women all campaigning for what they believed in, and I stood up and shared from my heart about who I was, and what my new vision was…
I now have several coffees in my diary, a whole new support network here, an easy way of growing a new community in person, countless women who are ready to support me.
It is UNBELIEVABLE what happens when you’re in alignment. And I can’t imagine what 2023 is going to offer.
How does it get any better than this????!
